This label period is characteristed by an R replacing Rawlings for the centerbrand. 2003 is the last year that Rawlings bats will display the team name under the player name. Many slight variations of this center brand exist.

The 1990-97 period is very similar to the 1983-86 label with the colored ring going around "Rawlings" and ADIRONDACK (R) below that. However, the P302 will be removed for this year and lacks a MADE IN USA between the two. Another difference is that this is the first year that team names appear under the player name and Big Stick on the barrel.

This label period is identified by Rawlings(left) being now next to the ADIRONDACK(right) with a PRO RING circle running right through the center. P302 replaces MADE IN USA under Rawlings.
